Young populations, with their upward mobility and generally keener interest in technology and other trends, are quite valuable to many of our Asian marketing clients. It turns out that the average age of the Asian-American population is over a year below that of the entire US, and over 5 years below that of the non-Hispanic white majority. Furthermore, the American Community Survey (to which the above link leads) also found that over 60% of Asian-Americans are married, and that Asian-American women are far likelier to have given birth in the past year. Connecting the dots (and drawing on anecdotal evidence), it becomes clear why we observe such a high proportion of young families within the Asian-American community. For this reason, Asian marketing is also of particular value to those clients of ours whose target market segments include couples and families. We at Asian Ad Marketing would love to help you understand the values and dynamics of Asian-American families and youth, and help you gain the insight it takes to execute a maximally effective Asian marketing campaign.
